One of Syntroleum’s largest accomplishments was achieved through the successful operations at its Catoosa Demonstration Facility, where more than 400,000 gallons of ultra-clean fuels were produced from natural gas utilizing Fischer-Tropsch (FT) processes. These fuels consisted of diesel, jet, and naphtha, and were successfully tested by research institutes, car companies, cities and even the U.S. Air Force in a B-52 bomber. This facility has validated Syntroleum’s technology, proving it’s ready for the commercial markets.

Additionally, Syntroleum has tested its Fischer-Tropsch processes in a three barrel per day pilot plant, while over 1,000 catalyst formulations have been tested in its FT catalyst laboratory.
